Glocal Gateway is a consulting firm that assists clients in implementing their plans for education, business and immigration overseas. We need the personal data to provide services for such ventures in top destinations across the globe. Our Privacy Policy features the manner in which we collect, apply, disclose, and manage personal data.

 

The Type
We collect and process personal identifiers and demographic information such as email, telephone, address, zip code, country, date of birth, gender, financial status, medical history, professional and employment records as well as any relevant information that would help the case.

The Collection
Most of the personal information is provided directly by the client and some from third parties, such as banking references and credit reporting agencies. We share this information with the responsible authorities and institutions where and when required. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the provider’s approval and our contractual and/or legal obligations are the bases for processing. The client can obviously retract the consent at any time by formal notice.

The Storage
The information is safely stored in the servers of our cloud service providers with durable measures in place for protection. We will not disclose or otherwise transfer the information to a third party without the client consent. The data is kept until the end of contractual terms and then thoroughly removed from the system to ensure that it is anonymized.

The Rights
Under the GDPR, the client enjoys such rights as:

Access – The client has the right to ask for copies of the personal information.

Modification – The client has the right to rectify the personal information deemed inaccurate. The client also has the right to complete data assumed inadequate.

Omission – The client has the right to erase the personal information in certain circumstances.

Restriction – The client has the right to curb the processing of the personal information in certain circumstances.
Objection – The client has the right to object to the processing of the personal information in certain circumstances.

Portability – The client has the right to ask for transfer of the personal information to another organization or to self in certain circumstances.

 

Complaint – The client has the right to express concern to the company about the use of personal information based on just cause.

Please note that no electronic transmission of information can be entirely secure. There is no guarantee that the security measures in place will always be sufficient or effective. Therefore, the client should presumably understand and agree all responsibility and risk for using the site and the internet generally.
